[District Rule 2201] <br /> 2. (1 5} No air contaminant shall be discharged into the atmosphere for a period or periods aggregating more than three <br /> minutes in any one hour which is as dark as,or darker than,Ringelmann 1 or 20%opacity. [District Rule 4101] <br /> 3. {98} No air contaminant shall be released into the atmosphere which causes a public nuisance. [District Rule 41021 <br /> 4. {14} Particulate matter emissions shall not exceed 0.1 grains/dscf in concentration. [District Rule 4201] <br /> 5. Only natural gas shall be used as auxiliary fuel for the combustion of VOC. [District Rule 22011 <br /> 6. {1462} The minimum operating temperature for the combustion chamber of the thermal oxidizer shall be maintained <br /> at or above 1400 degrees F. [District Rule 22011 <br /> 9. {1470} The soil remediation system shall not be operated unless the combustion chamber is at or above minimum <br /> operating temperature. The system shall automatically terminate operation if the temperature drops below the <br /> minimum operating temperature. [District Rule 22011 <br /> 10. The total VOC emissions,measured as methane, from the soil remediation system served by the thermal <br /> oxidizer/catalytic oxidizer shall not exceed 14.8 from <br /> in any one day. The emissions from the combustion of natural gas shall not exceed any of the following limits: 0.1 lb-NOx/MMBtu, <br /> 0.00285 Ib-SOx/MMBtu, 0.0076 Ib-PM10/MMBtu, 0.084 Ib-CO/MMBtu,or 0.0055 lb-VOC/MMBtu. [District Rule <br /> 22011 <br /> 12. The control efficiency for this thermal/catalytic oxidizer shall not be less than 99%.
