Investigative Report CAL/EPA•mplaint#11917 <br /> Re-inspection and Sampling Event <br /> Page 2 <br /> Summary of Complaint <br /> Complainant (C) reports she is finding oil in the holding tank of her toilet and oil in her clean-out <br /> drain. (C) reports that she would like for someone to come to her home to look at the ring of oil <br /> in her tank and clean-out. (C) is concerned that she was not informed of activity related to <br /> remediation of the petroleum contaminated site located at 4075 E. Main Street, Stockton, CA, <br /> Jamar Service, SJC Site Code:1667, CVRWQCB (Region 5S) Site Code: 390142. (C) reports <br /> she has contacted the local water company twice to conduct water sampling and she has not <br /> received any results from the sampling events to date. (C) reports a plume is under her home. <br /> Follow-up Re-Inspection with Sampling Event <br /> On Monday, August 26, 2013, a joint re-inspection and sampling event was conducted by <br /> representatives from SJCEHD and CVRWQCB by Lisa Medina and Jim Barton respectively. <br /> Representatives met at the site at 10:00 a.m. Two ice chests filled with ice were transported by <br /> representatives to 901 S. Oro Avenue to obtain samples from the Single Family Dwelling's <br /> (SFD) toilet holding tank and domestic water supply spigot located at the northeast side of the <br /> dwelling. Greetings took place between representatives and Ms. Hernandez. Permission was <br /> granted by Ms. Hernandez to enter SFD to obtain samples. Six samples from the toilet holding <br /> tank were collected by CVRWQCB representative in six individual 40ml glass vols. In addition, <br /> six individual 500ml amber glass bottle samples were taken from the holding tank. All samples <br /> were immediately sealed and placed in the ice chest. SJCEHD and CVRWQCB representatives <br /> then proceeded to the front yard and located a domestic water supply spigot located at the <br /> northeast corner of the SFD. Six individual 40ml glass vols samples were taken, sealed and <br /> immediately placed in a second ice chest. In addition, six individual 500ml amber glass bottle <br /> samples were taken, sealed and immediately placed in the ice chest. Ms. Hernandez was <br /> informed that sample results would be sent to her upon completion of the analyses. SJCEHD <br /> and CVRWQCB representatives left 931 S. Oro Ave, Stockton, CA, returned to 4075 E. Main <br /> St., Stockton CA and ensured appropriate storage and transportation of all samples.
