(ATC) has prepared this workplan for conducting a subsurface investigation <br /> and vapor extraction pilot testing at the Jamar Service Station at 4075 East Main Street in Stockton, <br /> California. The workplan is submitted on behalf of Mr. Jay Mcllrath of Jamar Service Station and <br /> outlines procedures and practices to be utilized during field investigations. <br /> i <br /> Three separate activities are described within this workplan. A subsurface investigation is proposed <br /> utilizing Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) techniques to aid in development of a hydrogeologic <br /> model of the site. The utilization of Hydropunch®borings are proposed to evaluate the vertical and <br /> lateral extent of impacted groundwater and to determine the need for the installation of additional <br /> monitoring wells at the site. The final activity is the proposal for the preparation for and <br /> performance of a vapor extraction pilot test to determine vapor extraction if is a viable remedial <br /> option for remediating petroleum impacted soil in the vicinity of the former underground storage <br /> tanks (USTs).
