4.0 RESULTS
441 Soil Analytical Results
Soil samples collected from MW8, the onsite "C" zone well, contained concentrations of TPHg,
' BTEX, and/or MTBE at depths ranging from approximately 55 to 65 feet bgs- TBA was detected
in soil samples collected from MW8 at a depth of 65 feet bgs. The soil sample collected from
boring MW8 did not contain a detectable concentration of TPHd.
The soil samples collected from borings MW7c on February 25, 2004 and MW9c on February
18, 2004 did not contain detectable concentrations of TPHg, TPHd, BTEX, MTBE, TAME,
' TBA, ETBE, DIPE, 1,2-DCA, or EDB. Analytical results of soil samples are summarized in
Table 1. Laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody documentation are presented in Appendix
' B.
4.2 Groundwater Analytical Results
4.2.I First Quarter Sampling
The groundwater samples collected from MW1 through MW4, MW8, and EWI contained
detectable concentrations of TPHg and BTEX constituents. Groundwater samples collected from
wells MWS and MW6a contained detectable concentrations of TPHg but no BTEX constituents.
' Groundwater samples from MWI through MW9c and EWI did not contain detectable
concentrations of TPHd.
Groundwater samples collected from MW9c contained detectable concentrations of benzene,
toluene, and xylenes. Groundwater samples collected from MW6b, MW7a, MW7b, MW7c,
MW9a, and MW9b contained no detectable concentrations of TPHg or BTEX constituents.
Groundwater samples collected from MWI, MW2, MW4, MW6b, MW7c, MWS, and EWI
contained detectable concentrations of MTBE and groundwater samples from well MW4 and
' MW6a contained detectable concentrations of TBA. Groundwater samples collected from wells
MWI and MW4 contained detectable concentrations of 1,2-DCA.
' Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 4.
4.2.2 Second Quarter Sampling
The groundwater samples collected from MW1 through MW4, and EWI contained detectable
' concentrations of TPHg and BTEX constituents. Groundwater samples collected from MW6a
contained detectable concentrations of TPHg but no BTEX constituents. Groundwater samples
from MWI through MWIOc and EWI did not contain detectable concentrations of TPHd.
SAEnviromental126823-Jamarlreportslsum.doc 6
