The issuance of this permit by the City does not create any agency on die part of the <br /> permittee, and the permittee will hold the City of Stockton harmless for any action for <br /> damages arising out of the permittee's activities performed under this permit. <br /> 6. Permittee, or his contractor, shall obtain an Encroachment Permit for the installation of the <br /> well(s). <br /> 7. Each completed well head shall be covered with a meter box or valve box as approved by <br /> the City of Stockton. The top of each box shall be flush with the surrounding ground or <br /> pavement. <br /> 8. The provisions of the State of California, Department of Water Resources Bulletin 74-81 <br /> entitled "Water Well Standards: State of California" shall be applicable to this permit. <br /> 9. All drilling locations, methods, and well designs are ,to be approved by the California <br /> Department of Health Services and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> 10. Drilling operations that create loud noise shall be confined between the hours of 7 a.m. and <br /> 6 p.m. <br /> 11. Portable mud tanks are to be used. <br /> 12. Disposal of water from the well development shall be in accordance with current federal <br /> regulations. <br /> 13. Blocking or barricading City streets shall be subject to the approval of the City Traffic <br /> Department. Traffic cones and warning signs shall be used to direct traffic. <br /> 14. Upon completion of water monitoring, the well shall be abandoned in accordance with the <br /> requirements of the San Joaquin Local Health District. <br /> 15 The permittee shall not close any travelled lane to facilitate installation, maintenance, or <br /> sampling of the well(s). <br /> JAMES B.
