(Ultramar), Horizon Environmental Inc. (Horizon) has <br /> prepared this cover letter to accompany the submittal of the Work Plan for an Additional <br /> Subsurface Investi ation (Horizon, August 1, 1997) for the above-referenced site. This <br /> Work Plan was prepared in response to a letter prepared by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services - Environmental Health Division requesting an additional groundwater <br /> monitoring well (MW-6) adjacent to existing monitoring well MW-2, and an additional <br /> groundwater monitoring well (MW-7) to be located in the southeastern corner of the site.
