The work steps detailed In this report were completed in accordance with the <br /> Ultramar Inc.Scope of Work for Heal Estate Divestment projects dated January 22, 1991. In brief,the <br /> work steps included drilling,logging and sampling three soil borings,and analysis of soil samples. The <br /> scope of work was designed to determine ff petroleum hydrocarbons from the underground storage <br /> tanks have impacted soil or shallow groundwater beneath the site. All work was conducted in <br /> accordance with San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Resources and California Regional <br /> Water cuality Control Board -Central Valley Region guidelines. <br /> 1.1 Background <br /> The subject site is located in the City of Stockton,San Joaquin County,at an elevation of approximately <br /> 28 feet above mean sea level. The station is currently dispensing gasoline from three 10,000-gallon <br /> underground storage tanks installed in 1961.
