I
;7
1 ..
Fourth Quarter 1997 Ground Water Monitoring Report,Beacon#474 -
3440 East Main Avenue,Stockton,California
Page
., GROUND WATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSES
1 Ground water samples were collected from five monitoring wells (monitoring wells MW-1 through
MW-4 were not sampled this quarter). All samples were analyzed for concentrations of:
i
i 1 • TPH, as gasoline, by modified EPA Method 8015.
• BTEX by EPA Method 602.
• MTBE by EPA Method 602.
Analytical results collected since December 1993 are summarized in Table 2. Figure 3 illustrates
1 the inferred distribution of benzene in ground water based on the current data. The laboratory report
and chain-of custody form for the current sampling event are contained in Attachment C. Benzene
was not present at detectable concentrations in ground water samples collected from monitoring
wells MW-5 and MW-7 through MW-9. Benzene concentrations increased in the sample collected
from monitoring well MW-6 compared to prior sampling.
A copy of this quarterly monitoring report should be forwarded to:
' Mr. Michael Infurna
Environmental Health Division
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Post office Box 2009
i
Stockton, California 95201
t
Mr. Gordon Boggs
California Regional Water Quality Control Board
Central Valley Region
3443 Routier Road, Suite A
Sacramento, California 95827-3098
1
i
1 L
i
{ I
EI Dorado Environmental, Inc..
:4
