Beacon Station No.474 <br /> December 23, 1997 <br /> �tockton,Calif9mian l Ridurf c In eUp-ation Repo <br /> • Groundwater samples collected on October 1 1997 from the newly installed monitoring <br /> well MW-6, indicated MTBE of <1000 ppb (elevated detection limit due to high <br /> concentration of TPHg present in the sample) by EPA Method 8020 and <0.50 ppb by <br />' EPA Method 8260 confirmation. The No MTBE or oxygenated fuel additive <br /> compounds (methanol, ethanol, tertiary butanol, DIPE, ETBE, and TAME) were <br /> tdetected in any of the analyzed soil boring or groundwater samples collected during this <br /> investigation. The source of the 2,800 ppb of MTBE detected in well MW-2 during the <br />' March 27, 1997 quarterly sampling event is unknown.
