Six soil samples were <br /> collected by IQeinfelder during tank removal, four from under the tanks and <br /> two under the pump island. The samples were analyzed for TPH-g, BTX and <br /> total lead Some samples had detectable amounts of these compounds, as <br /> shown below. <br /> Sample I.D. The samples <br /> were non-detect for those compounds. <br /> • Soil pile samples collected on February 26, 1987 showed no TPH-g, but had 13 <br /> and 5.3 ppm of C9 - C36 compounds, and one sample had 10 ppb toluene and <br /> 1,720 ppb xylenes. <br /> Overexcavation Sampling <br /> The original tank pit was expanded to the northwest under the former location of <br /> the gasoline pumps, reaching a depth of fifteen feet BGS Three samples were <br /> obtained from the extended area.
