Aeration, Food and Liquor Store 76, Manteca, California <br /> Dear J.J. <br /> Eighteen truckloads of soil (approximately 325 cubic yards) were hauled <br /> from Food and Liquor Store f76 to Manteca Sand and Gravel. Five sections <br /> of soil were aerated according to San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control <br /> District guidelines. Each section of 60 to 65 cubic yards was aerated for <br /> approximately two weeks. <br /> Upon completion of the aeration, a PID organic vapor survey was conducted <br /> on each section of soil. A sample was collected and analyzed from the <br /> last four sections. After the PID survey each section of soil was <br /> transported to the Austin Road Landfill. <br /> This letter is to inform you the last section of soil (Pile #5) was <br /> screened and sampled on August 17, 1987. Manteca Sand and Gravel has been <br /> notified they can haul the last soil pile to Austin Road Landfill. Once <br /> all of the analytical results have been received, the landfill will be <br /> notified regarding final soil disposal. The results of the soil aeration <br /> will be incorporated into the investigation report prepared for Food and <br /> Liquor Store 076. <br /> • <br />
