The <br /> samples were analyzed to measure the concentration of various chemical <br /> constituents. The analytical y proceduresused to measure these constiuents <br /> are based on applicable U.S. Environmental` Protection Agency methods. <br /> Included in this report is a brief description of field procedures, a <br /> table of results and an appendix providing laboratory certification infor- <br /> mation.- <br /> Field Procedures: On July 27,1987 Fred Davis of PolyMatrix..Associates,-at- <br /> the request of Universal. Engineers, colit;cted .two (2) soil samples following/ <br /> a diesel tank removal. On July 29,1987 two (2) soil samples were also collected <br /> following the removal of a gasoline tank on July 27,1987 and the boring of camp <br /> _ung holes in a cement caldron on Jul <br /> 29 <br /> 1987 <br /> July The cement <br /> oline tank in place. The -samples were collected using ahandaddrivenhmodified <br /> eld the gas- <br /> Shelby tube with brass liners: Once the samples were extracted from the areas <br /> of concern, the brass liner open ends were covered with aluminum foil and sealed <br /> with PVC tape. All samples were immediately labeled and recorded on chain-of- <br /> Custody forms. Sal'ples were then placed on ice WC) for transportation to the <br /> laboratory. <br /> Analytical Results: The table attached lists the samples, parameters and their <br /> perspective concentrations.
