Our communication continues to encourage <br /> expeditious and efficient progress at the above referenced site., <br /> This letter summarizes our discussion and will direct you to perform the following activities in order to <br /> complete the "Draft Additional Site Assessment and Remedial Options Report" (Report) dated <br /> December 1993 as prepared by BVWST. <br /> Addendum to "Draft Additional Site Assessment and Remedial Options Report" (Addendum) - 2/18/94 <br /> •Perform a slug test to estimate the horizontal hydraulic conductivity in order to select the <br /> appropriate remediation method best suited for the site conditions. Each monitoring <br /> well that will be included within the remediation system should be tested and the <br /> results defined prior to designed the final remediation system. <br /> •Based upon the slug test results and re-evaluation of Weston's tidal survey, include the <br /> selected remedial option best suited to achieve the water quality goals of State Water <br /> Resources Control Board Resolution #68-16 and Resolution #92-49. <br /> •Conference call to be arranged on or before February 18, 1994 to discuss the progress of <br /> the Addendum and concurrence for the Draft Corrective Action Plan. <br /> I <br /> First Quarter Monitoring Report -April 15 1994 <br /> *Monitoring well sampling and groundwater measurements will be conducted in mid-February. ! <br /> Monitoring wells #1, #8, and #9 shall be analyzed for BTEX, TPH-g, and field filtered <br /> for lead testing. Although lead sampling was not discussed during our conference <br /> call, BVWST's recommendation to confirm that lead is not a contaminant of concern is <br /> justified. <br /> *Prepare cross section(s) of data gathered in the seven;hydropunch sampling and <br /> monitoring wells #8 and #9. <br /> Corrective Action Plan - March 28, 1994 <br /> Based upon our February 28, 1994 conference call, local implementing agency (LIA) regulatory review <br /> and concurrence should not be delayed.
