Hinson: <br /> Re : EBMUD Stockton Center, 1804 West Main Street, Site Code 1169, <br /> Transmittal of Draft Additional Site Assessment and Remedial <br /> Options Report <br /> Enclosed are two copies of the Draft Additional Site Assessment <br /> and Remedial Options Report summarizing field activities and <br /> resultant data collected at the East Bay Municipal Utility <br /> District' s (EBMUD) Stockton Yard during the third and fourth <br /> quarters of 1993 . The report has been prepared in accordance <br /> with the July 1993 Additional Site Assessment and Quarterly <br /> Monitoring Workplan approved by San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division, on July 29, 1993 . <br /> To briefly summarize the site status, two additional monitoring <br /> wells were installed -- one at the same location as the removed <br /> underground storage tank and the other downgradient of the <br /> contaminated area. Based on the results of two quarters of <br /> groundwater monitoring data from the two new and seven existing <br /> wells, the areal extent of contamination has been defined. The <br /> next steps will be to incorporate your comments on the draft <br /> report, work with you to select the appropriate remediation <br /> method, and prepare a remedial action plan (RAP) for your review. <br /> The selection of the remedial option is scheduled for January <br /> 1994 and the RAP will be prepared in February 1994 . <br /> As a duly authorized representative of EBMUD, I certify under <br /> penalty of law that this document and all enclosures are, to the <br /> best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate and complete .
