The results demonstrate that the
effect on groundwater elevations is minimal, does not impact the groundwater
gradient direction at the site, and suggests that the tidal study has been
adequately characterized. PHS-EHD agrees with Weston's conclusions,
therefore, no additional tidal evaluation is necessary at this time.
In a telephone communication with Mr. Robert Sengebush, subsequent laboratory
detection limits will be those specified in the "Tri Regional Board Staff
Recommendations. . ." (State Water Resources Control Board Resolution #92-491 .
As stated in previous correspondence, the District shall interpret the
quarterly monitoring information and address the remaining soil contamination
in a Final Remedial Plan to be submitted to PHS-EHD and Regional Water Quality
Control Board by December 14, 1992.
If you have questions, contact Diane Hinson, Supervising R.E.H.S. , at (209)
468-3452.
Jogi Khaf' er
.D. , M.P.H
Health o
rLarurie A.
