Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Dear Ms. Foley: <br /> Re : Underground Storage Tank Removal Report - Stockton Center <br /> The District removed two underground storage tanks from the <br /> Stockton Center on September 28 , 1989 . The Tank Identification <br /> Numbers assigned by your office were 39-1169-02 and 39-1169-03 . <br /> The tanks were replaced with above-ground Convault tanks. <br /> The removed tanks were cleaned and rinsed by Hydro-Chem Services <br /> and rendered inert prior to removal . The tanks were transported <br /> by :Hydro-Chem Services and disposed of at Levin Metals in <br /> Richmond, California as scrap metal : <br /> Two soil samples were taken from each tank excavation and one <br /> sample was taken from beneath the former pump island. All <br /> laboratory analyses were .less than detectable . <br /> . The following documents are included as attachments : <br /> o SJLHD Underground Tank Disposition Tracking Records . <br /> o SJLHD Removal Permits. <br /> o Soil sample results from the tank removals. <br /> o Chain-of-Custody for the soil samples . <br /> o Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests for the washwater used <br /> to clean the tank prior to removal . <br /> o Certificate of Disposal for the tanks . <br /> 2130 ADELINE STREET.P.O.BOX 14055.
