Mat <br /> i< <br /> Samples were sealed into ziplock plastic baggies and placed with ice in an Insulate <br /> chest for delivery with a chain-of-custody document tothe WESTON Analytics'laboratory <br /> in Stockton, California. This laboratory is certified by the State of California to perform <br /> the raquired analyses. All of the soil samples EPA Method $01 itted or analysis <br /> of toluene, <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G) by <br /> ethylbenzene and xylene(BTEX)by EPA Method 8020 and for total lead by EPA Method <br /> 7421. Auger flights and bits were decontaminated by steam cleaning,whereas <br /> all smaller tools were washed in an aiconox/water mixture with stiff bristle brushes, rinsed <br /> in potable water and finally spray-rinsed with distilled water. All water that had been used <br /> for brought <br /> to thn dui ng`t9hedrilling was also placed into labeled into labeled 55-gallon drums. All c55kgallon steengs and d <br /> brought to the surface <br /> drums. All drums were left on-site. <br /> Monitoring wells were installed in all borings.
