The site is currently occupied by <br /> f # several wood and metal framed structures used as offices, maintenance garages, supply <br /> PP Y <br /> storage and for vehicle refueling, In July 1987, a 1,000-gallon underground diesel and a <br /> 11000-gallon regular gasoline tank were removed by EBMUD and Universal .En ' eerin ; . <br /> i� g , <br /> r" The structures and tank locations are shown on the Site plan, Plate 3. Soil samples were collected from below the ends of each tank and submitted to an analytical laboratory for <br /> q analyses. Analytical results and other data were <br /> r reported in a letter from Universal. Engineering, Inca titled "Final Report Data, <br /> Underground Tank Closure at EBMUD Yard, 1804 West Main Street, Stockton, CA." <br /> ;.- dafiwd January 27, 1988. Laboratory results indicated the.presence of gasoline.constituents <br /> in the soll beneath the east end of the gasoline tank. The soil sample contained benzene at <br /> 10 mg/kg, toluene at 21 rug/kg,xylenes at 66 mg/kg and total hydrocarbons at 940 mg/kg. <br /> Soil samples from beneath the concrete vault were collected during the removal of the <br /> vault by Universal Engineering.
