Previously,
verbal approval has been granted to Froward by the Environmental Health Division
(LEA) to temporary stockpile soil jobs in WMU G pending the results analytical testing
if the generator would self-certify that the soil was non-hazardous waste. Temporary
stockpiling could only be used if there was an urgent need to remove the soil from the
site of generation prior to knowing the analytical results.
Forward may continue to grant approvals to temporarily stockpile soil jobs in WMU
G prior to receiving analytical results subject to the following conditions:
1 . There is an urgent need to remove the soil before the analytical results
are known. Urgent need may include the following:
(a) Emergency removal (i.e. roadside spills, etc.)
(b) Lack of stockpiling room available on-site
(c) Protecting public health or the environment
Other reasons shall be reviewed by the LEA on a case by case basis.
2. The generator will self-certify that the waste in nonhazardous.
3. Analytical testing shall be completed within seventeen (17) business
days of acceptance at Forward Landfill.
,,...inn :, .., . . .. .,:. ••...ai1 :re r-circ.
