The well survey was performed <br /> on behalf of Unocal Corporation in accordance with the scope of work presented in <br /> PACIFIC's Well Survey Proposal, dated March 21, 1996. The findings of the survey are <br /> presented below. <br /> PACIFIC performed the water supply well survey by reviewing available files of the <br /> California Department of Water Resources to identify documented active and inactive water <br /> supply wells within a 1/4-mile radius of the subject site. The identification of monitoring- <br /> wells and extraction wells associated with groundwater remediation activities was not <br /> included in the file review. Ten documented wells were identified within the area examined <br /> (Figure 1 Table 1).
