Please submit to the EHD a copy of the access
agreement that you provided to Transamerica. If you decide to provide a new access I
agreement to Transamerica given the comments above, please send a copy of it to the EHD.
Once the EHD receives the copy of the access agreement, a letter will be prepared and sent to
Transamerica requesting their cooperation in this investigation. The EHD contacted Reid .
Campbell at the City of Stockton Engineering and Transportation Department about having a j
vacuum extraction truck operating on March Lane and he stated a traffic control plan would
have to be submitted for approval, so that does appear to be an option. The telephone number
for contacting Reid Campbell is (209) 937-8349.
The Report recommends installation of "Well Booms" in monitoring wells MW9S, MW91 and
MW9D as an interim remediation measure. From the information supplied with the Report and
reviewed on the internet, it appears the product is for absorbing free product not for dissolved `
MTBE. If there is information that supports this product remediates dissolved MTBE, please 11
provide the EHD with the information. The EHD does not approve of installing Well Booms'in
the monitoring wells at this time.
A response to the above comments should be submitted to the EHD by March 4, 2009.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Margaret!Lagorio, REHrSV
Program Coordinator
G
cc: Lee Ignatowicz, Stantec, 3017 Kilgore Road, Ste 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
James Barton, CVRWQCB
Darrell Eppler, 2701 W.
