ERI <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL RESOLUTIONS, INC. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL EVALUATION AND <br /> INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> at <br /> Unocal Service Station 5886 <br /> 2701 March Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> For Tosco Marketing Company <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Tosco Marketing Company (Tosco), Environmental Resolutions, Inc (ERI) <br /> performed a supplemental environmental investigation at the subject site ERI conducted the <br /> investigation to evaluate the integrity of the existing fuel system and the extent of residual <br /> hydrocarbons in soil and dissolved hydrocarbons in groundwater beneath the site <br /> Specifically, the work included <br /> • Hand augering three on-site soil borings (HAI through HA3) in the vicinity of select catch <br /> basins located adjacent to dispenser islands, <br /> • Drilling four on-site soil borings ($4 through 137) and constructing duel completion <br /> groundwater monitoring wells MW4S through MW7S (shallow wells) and MW41) through <br /> MW7D (deep wells) in the borings, <br /> • Collecting soil samples from the borings to evaluate soil stratigraphy, <br /> • Collecting and submitting soil samples for laboratory analyses for gasoline and diesel <br /> hydrocarbons, and hydrogeologic parameters, <br /> • Developing the newly installed wells, and, <br /> • Evaluating groundwater monitoring and sampling data provided by MPDS Services, Inc <br /> (MPDS) <br /> ERI installed the wells at two levels to evaluate the vertical extent of dissolved hydrocarbons in <br /> groundwater at discreet intervals <br /> 74 Digital Drive, Suite S, Novato, California 94949 415-382-9105 (FAX 415-382-1856) <br /> Irvine - Novato • Seattle <br />
