The purpose of the site assessment was to generate a <br /> baseline assessment of property conditions at the time of a property transfer. The data reported <br /> herein were collected on behalf of ConocoPhillips, and were not requested or required by a <br /> regulatory agency. <br /> The completed scope of work is summarized as follows: <br /> • Prepared a site specific Health and Safety Plan; <br /> • Marked the soil boring locations, notified Underground Service Alert (USA) and conducted a <br /> geophysical survey with a private utility locator to identify any potential conflicts with existing <br /> underground utilities; <br /> • Drilled six hollow stem auger soil borings at the locations illustrated on Figure 1; <br /> • Collected soil samples at approximate 5-foot intervals for purposes of logging subsurface <br /> conditions, field detection of organic vapors using a photoionization detector (PID), and <br /> potential laboratory analysis; <br /> • Prepared a report of the site assessment activities. <br /> Baseline Site Investigation <br /> Field Activities <br /> Six (6) soil borings (B-1 through B-6) were advanced at the site on March 17, 2005 and March 18, <br /> 2005. One soil boring (B-1) was advanced in the vicinity of the underground storage tanks (LISTS) to <br /> a depth of 50.5 feet bgs. Five soil borings (13-2 through B-6) were advanced in the vicinity of the <br /> pump islands to depths of 30 to 50.5 feet below ground surface (bgs). Each of the soil borings was <br />
