KLEINFELDER Individual monthly monitoring reports will be prepared describing the observed water elevations and conditions of each monitoring point. We estimate up to at least twelve consecutive months will be evaluated. ASSUMPTIONS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES The proposed scope of services are based on the following: • The client will provide Kleinfelder with the authorization to access the site. The client will provide a written right of entry authorization, if requested. • The site is accessible with a 2-wheel drive truck mounted drilling rig for drilling and installing the piezometers and test wells. The site is accessible with at least a 4-wheel drive truck for groundwater level monitoring purposes. ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE We anticipate Task 1 to require approximately 6 weeks to complete. The initial report of findings would be prepared approximately 3-4 weeks following the completion of Task 1. The following table outlines the tasks and anticipated timeframe to complete the tasks. Task Description ' Time Frame Task 1 Permits, Piezometer Installation (6), Development, and Survey. 3 weeks Task 2 Reporting-Initial (one time) 34 weeks following the completion of Task 1 LIMITATIONS The proposed scope of service requested by Grupe is limited to evaluating the current groundwater conditions. The scope of services described here is not intended to be inclusive, to identify all potential concerns, or to eliminate the possibility of environmental problems. Within current technology, no level of assessment can show conclusively that a property or its structures are completely free of hazardous substances. Therefore, Kleinfelder cannot offer a certification that the property is clear of environmental liability. Kleinfelder will assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any claim, loss of property value, damage, or injury which results from pre-existing hazardous substances being encountered or present on the project site, or from the discovery of such hazardous substances. Kleinfelder offers a range of investigative and engineering services to suit the varying needs of our clients. Although risk can never be eliminated, more detailed and extensive investigations yield more information, which may help understand and manage the degree of risk.
