The report summarized an investigation performed
in conjunction with the acquisition of the facility. Your letter stated that low levels of hydrocarbons
detected in a sample collected at a depth of 65 feet,and asked that BP pursue on of the following two I
options ;:{ ytc:.; l 3 r<z} ON2 ?
The first option`was lo,submit a hydrogeological chart showing the depth to groundwater in the vicinity
of the site at and after the time that the station was opened. It would be helpful if you could provide an
example of a chart that has adequately addressed your concerns. Additionally,please provide reference
sources for the information you are requesting so that we may provide it.
The second option was to place the site into the Local Oversight Program and to perform a groundwater
investigation.
I will await additional information from the county so that we can make a more informed choice for the I
options you suggested. rc
Please give me a call if you have any questions,comments or concerns regarding this matter.I can be
reached at(206)251-0689.
Since ly,
i
, f
'F-. .s;:,;4r £1 :; 'P_'` ,"p. ..,,£1F, ..9« ,"y4,2Ct.t Iii{:a::q>; ..., f-•L,F. a.:a,.
Scott Hooton. t rr _.s1_., 'a' .
