Mariposa Road
Stockton, CA 95206
On March 31, 2014, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
responded to Correction Action Plan (CAP), prepared by Environ Strategy Consultants, Inc.,
with an approval letter. According to the EHD approval the letter, the EHD tentatively
approved the CAP, contingent upon successful completion of the public participation period.
During the public participation period the public has 30 days to express concerns regarding
the proposed remedial method for this site. Fieldwork can begin once the 30-day public
participation period is over and all public concerns have been addressed.
During a recent site review, EHD noted that the public notification period had not been
completed. Please postpone the approved high-vacuum dual phase extraction (HVDPE)
remediation system until the 30-day public participation period is complete. Once
completed, the EHD will notify you to proceed with the approved remediation system,
assuming that no persuasive reason to not approve the CAP is received. A copy of the
public notice has been attached for your records.
Please contact Angelica Sandoval Marin at (209) 468-2807 or amarin@sjcehd.com if you
have any questions.
Sincerely
Angelica S.
