The CUF concurred with the EHD that secondary source remains and <br /> that the case does not meet the Low-threat Underground Storage Tank Case Closure Policy <br /> groundwater criteria. The CUF recommended that the EHD direct the responsible party (RP) to <br /> conduct groundwater remediation to achieve Policy guidelines in a timely manner. <br /> The EHD agrees with the CUF. At this time the public participation period is being conducted in <br /> regard to a corrective action plan that proposes dual-phase extraction to remediate soil and <br /> groundwater in the heart of the plume; the EHD anticipates initiation of the system in early <br /> November 2014.
