Linda Turkette
Srikanth Dasappa
March 21, 1995
Page 2
1995.) In response, USA Gasoline Corporation informed us that "USA is only responsible to
submit reports of all it investigation to the Agency." (See Exhibit 2 - USA Gasoline Corporation
correspondence dated February 21, 1995.) We are somewhat surprise and disappointed by USA's
lack of cooperation especially in light of the fact that contamination from their property may be
impacting my client's property.
Our investigation to date has revealed that two underground storage tanks were installed
on F.J.S. Ranches property by Atlantic Richfield in approximately 1964 and were removed by
Atlantic Richfield in approximately 1978. It is our understanding these two tanks were in
excellent condition when they were pulled and there was no evidence of contamination.
Given the fact that USA Gasoline Corporation is not willing to provide us with any
information, I would like to make arrangements with the Environmental Health Division to obtain
copies of all documents provided to you by USA Gasoline Corporation. I realize that your office
is extremely busy, however, given USA Gasoline unwillingness to cooperate, I see no other
alternative.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely yours,
EFFREY B.
