Letters from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality
Control Board (CVRWQCB) stated that they required a Problem
Assessment Report by December 30, 1988. If one was prepare, it
should be submitted to this office by May 30, 1991, along with any
other work plans or reports not previously submitted.
Pursuant to Section 2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tank
Regulations (California Administrative Code, Title 23, Subchapter
16) , Quarterly Monitoring Reports should be submitted to this
office. The monitoring report shall be submitted to Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division and Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) until the investigation and
cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. The report is to show the:
-status of investigation and cleanup activities including the
results of all investigations completed to date;
-proposed continuing or next phase of investigation;
-method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules for the
completion of the investigation of the site and remediation;
-monitoring well data including groundwater elevation, pH,
conductivity, gradient;
-analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling; and
-a site map showing the "zero line" of contamination, if
known, and changes in the above measurements over the last
quarter.
It appears from the review of the file that more investigative work
will need to be done to fully assess the vertical and horizontal
extent of the soil and groundwater contamination. The groundwater
gradient and water sampling results generated for the quarterly
reports should be used to determine the future investigative work.
A Quarterly Monitoring Report should be submitted to this office by
July 26, 1991.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
