1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' USA Petroleum Corporation (USA) has retained The Park Corporation (Park) to provide <br /> environmental assessment and remediation services at USA's gasoline retail station#110 located <br /> at 2132 East Manposa Road in Stockton, California, as shown on Figures I and 2 (Site Location <br /> and Vicinity Maps) Mr Snkanth Dasappa of USA authorized Park to prepare this quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring report for the above mentioned site This report has been prepared for <br /> submission to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> ' (PHS/EHD), the lead regulatory agency overseeing environmental issues at the site The <br /> PHS/EHD Site Code is #1669 <br /> ' 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> The following is a brief summary of the scope of work authorized by USA <br /> • Locate and measure �'depths to groundwater in wells MW- through MW-6-P as <br /> P g <br /> shown on Figure 3, <br /> • Pure a minimum of three equivalent well volumes of groundwater from each of <br /> Purge q <br /> ' the wells and monitor pH,temperature and conductivity, <br /> • Collect groundwater samples from the monitoring wells, <br /> • Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbon in the gasoline and diesel <br /> range (TPH G and TPH D, EPA Method 8015 modified), benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX, EPA Method 8020), and total organic lead <br /> (EPA method 239 2), and <br /> • Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report (QMR) for submittal to <br /> USA and the PHS/EHD <br /> 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> The following section discusses field protocol used during data collection for this QMR <br /> 2.1 Groundwater Elevations - <br /> ' <br /> Upon gauging depths to groundwater, the six groundwater monitoring wells were checked for <br /> P g <br /> the presence of free floating hydrocarbon using an interface probe No free product was present <br /> in any of the wells Depths to groundwater measurements were then taken from each well from <br /> surveyed marks on the casing using an electric water level sensor Calculated groundwater <br /> ' elevations and field data are presented in Tables 1 and 2, respectively Field data sheets are <br /> included in Appendix A <br /> 1 <br />
