• 1.0 INTRODUCTION
' USA Petroleum Corporation (USA)has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park) to
provide environmental assessment and remediation services at USA's gasoline retail station#110
located at 2132 East Mariposa Road in Stockton, California, as shown on Figures 1 and 2 (Site
Location and Vicinity Maps) Mr Srikanth Dasappa of USA authorized Park to prepare this
quarterly site status and groundwater monitoring report for the above mentioned site This report
' has been prepared for submission to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD),the lead regulatory agency overseeing environmental
issues at the site The PHS/EHD Site Code is #1669
1.1 Scope of Work
' The following is a brief summary of the scope of work authorized by USA
t0 Locate and measure depths to groundwater in wells MW-1-P through MW-6-P as
shown on Figure 3,
t0 Purge a minimum of three equivalent well volumes of groundwater from each of
the wells and monitor pH, temperature and conductivity,
• Collect groundwater samples from the monitoring wells,
• Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbon in the gasoline and diesel
range (TPH G and TPH D, EPA Method 8015 modified), benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX, EPA Method 8020), and total organic lead
(EPA method 239 2), and
' Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report (QMR) for submittal to
USA and the PHS/EHD
' 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING
The following section discusses field protocol used during data collection for this QMR
' 2.1 Groundwater Elevations
' Prior to gauging depths to groundwater, the monitoring wells were checked for the presence of
free floating hydrocarbon product using a new disposable bailer No free product was present in
any of the wells Depths to groundwater measurements were then taken from each well from
' surveyed marks on the casing using an electric water level sensor Field data and calculated
groundwater elevations are presented in Table 1 Field data sheets completed during the gauging
iactivities are included in Appendix A
1
