• 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' USA Petroleum Corporation (USA)has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park) to <br /> provide environmental assessment and remediation services at USA's gasoline retail station#110 <br /> located at 2132 East Mariposa Road in Stockton, California, as shown on Figures 1 and 2 (Site <br /> Location and Vicinity Maps) Mr Srikanth Dasappa of USA authorized Park to prepare this <br /> quarterly site status and groundwater monitoring report for the above mentioned site This report <br />' has been prepared for submission to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD),the lead regulatory agency overseeing environmental <br /> issues at the site The PHS/EHD Site Code is #1669 <br /> 1.1 Scope of Work <br /> ' The following is a brief summary of the scope of work authorized by USA <br /> t0 Locate and measure depths to groundwater in wells MW-1-P through MW-6-P as <br /> shown on Figure 3, <br /> t0 Purge a minimum of three equivalent well volumes of groundwater from each of <br /> the wells and monitor pH, temperature and conductivity, <br /> • Collect groundwater samples from the monitoring wells, <br /> • Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbon in the gasoline and diesel <br /> range (TPH G and TPH D, EPA Method 8015 modified), benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene,and total xylenes (BTEX, EPA Method 8020), and total organic lead <br /> (EPA method 239 2), and <br /> ' Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report (QMR) for submittal to <br /> USA and the PHS/EHD <br /> ' 2.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> The following section discusses field protocol used during data collection for this QMR <br /> ' 2.1 Groundwater Elevations <br /> ' Prior to gauging depths to groundwater,the monitoring wells were checked for the presence of <br /> free floating hydrocarbon product using a new disposable bailer No free product was present in <br /> any of the wells Depths to groundwater measurements were then taken from each well from <br /> ' surveyed marks on the casing using an electric water level sensor Field data and calculated <br /> groundwater elevations are presented in Table 1 Field data sheets completed during the gauging <br /> iactivities are included in Appendix A <br /> 1 <br />
