1
' GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT
USA PETROLEUM STATION #110
OCTOBER, 1994
3 0 SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
' 3.1 Results of Groundwater Laboratory Analyses
I
Detectable levels of petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline were reported in monitoring!wells
' MW-2-P and MW-3-P No detected levels of petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel were reported
Groundwater laboratory results for September 1992, September 1993, March 1994 and August
' 1994 are summarized in Table 111, certified laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documents
for the most recent sampling event are included in Appendix D
' 3 2 Groundwater Conditions
' Recent groundwater data collected at the site indicate groundwater occunng at depths ranging from
72 86 feet to 72 09 feet below ground surface (bgs) The groundwater elevation ranges from a
high of 47 04 feet below mean sea level (ms]) to a low of 47 41 feet below msl Groundwater
' is flowing east northeast with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 0028 or about 0 28 feet per
100 feet Several graphic presentations of the flow beneath the site are presented on!Figures 3
through 9
The field data collected and subsequent flow direction calculations suggests that the groundwater
' below the site generally flows east but has fluctuated slightly north and south several times during
the year
I
i
' 5007 J3 4
