1 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' USA Petroleum Corporation (USA) has retained Park Environmental Corporation (Park) <br /> to represent USA in matters pertaining to environmental issues at its facility located at 2132 <br /> Mariposa Road, in Stockton, California (Figure 1 of Appendix A) Mr Srikanth Dasappa of <br /> ' USA has authorized Park to prepare this report for assessment of groundwater quality at the <br /> subject site <br /> ' San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) is <br /> the environmental lead agency for the site The PHS/EHD references this site with Site <br /> ' Code #1669 <br /> 1.1 Scope of Services <br /> ' • Locate and measure depth to groundwater in all three wells on <br /> the site, <br /> 0 Calculate groundwater elevation and determine groundwater <br /> flow direction, <br /> ' • Purge three well volumes of groundwater from each of the wells <br /> (MW-1-P, MW-2-P and MW-3-P) and monitor pH, <br /> temperature, and conductivity, <br /> • Collect a total of three groundwater samples from each of the <br /> ' wells, and one duplicate sample from MW-2-P, <br /> • Analyze water samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) <br /> ' quantified against gasoline and diesel standards, benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) and for total <br /> lead using EPA methods 8015, 8020 and 7421, respectively, and <br /> 1 <br /> • Prepare this Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report for <br /> ' presentation to USA and the PHS/EHD <br /> 1.2 Facility Description <br /> ' The USA Petroleum service station is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of <br /> East Mariposa Avenue and Farmington Road in Stockton, California (Figure 1 of Appendix <br /> ' A) The station has four underground storage tanks (USTs), of which three are 12,000 <br /> gallon gasoline tanks and one is a 3,000 gallon diesel fuel tank (Figure 2 of Appendix A) <br /> All four tanks appear to be located in the same tank pit excavation near the front of the <br /> property <br /> ' 5007 13 1 <br />
