I have reviewed our findings with Mr. Mike Keenan
of Wallace-Kuhl & Associates, Inc. and Mr. Bill Locklin,
Vice-President of U.S. Rentals Company. We have collectively
agreed to pursue the following sequence of steps to identify
andhopefullymitigate the remaining contaminated soil at the
subject location.
1. Using a 40' capacity excavator we propose
excavating slots on the excavation floor
and walls to a maximum depth of 451 below
grade.
2. Spoils shall be screened with an "O.V.A"
device to determine potential sampling
points. The location of samples shall
be in accordance with our workplan or as
directed by your office.
3. Upon reviewing data collected by excavation,
determination of the practicality of con-
tinued excavation will be resolved by
Wallace-Kuhl & Associates, U.S. Rentals
and your office.
