1/
Project No. 9688 WORK PLAN June 11, 1999 {
2373 Mariposa Road Page 6
i
encountered. Based on review of borings at the site,11the soils are fine grained
composed primarily of silts and sand with a varying amount of sand.
Permeabilities of such soil aregenerally low.
Three nearbywater well records maintained b the San Joaquin Count Flood
Y ;, J q Y
Control District (FCD)were reviewed. March 1999 records indicated the
current depth to ground water would be anticipated to be 50 to 60 feet below
ground surface.
The following table indicates the maximum, minimum and most recent well
readings for the three water well records reviewed.;The location of the three
wells are shown on the attached Figure 4.
Well ID Records Maximum Minimum Most recent
maintained depth/date Depth/date depth/date
from
8R2 08-08-63 118.5 52.0 63.0
10-06776 04'07-87 03-03-99
19G1 02-18-71 88.0 37.0 50.5
10-06-77 03L26-86 03-15-99
it
20G1 05-16-67 99.5 50.0 60.5
04-03-78 W07-87 03-15-99
The maximum high groundwater appears to have occurred in the period of
1976 to 1978 at a depth of approximately 100 feet below ground surface. The
minimum historic depth to groundwater occurred in 1986 and 1987 and
ranged from 37 feet to 52 feet below ground surface.[The most recent depths to
ground water from the three wells was between 50;and 63 feet below ground
s3
water.
r
The current groundwater level appears to be mid-range between the historic
high and low groundwater elevations.
't
PLANNED WORK
Pre-field Activities
WDE will obtain written authorization of the work described herein from
EHD. Any comments or suggestions from EHD wiil be incorporated into the G
work by an addendum to this work plan. Afterl approval is received, all
permits which are required by San Joaquin County will be obtained. The I
property owner will be notified of all field work dates and the precise
locations so access is available. Underground Service Alert will be notified at
least 72 hours before any drilling so that any utilities are located. EHD will be
WILLIAM DUBOVSKY ENVIRONMENTAL
i
i
