FINDINGS :
r
3 1 RELATIVE GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT
The relative surfaceg round water elevation on 09 September 1996 is depicted in Figure 3 The depth
,
to ground water m wells MW-1 through 111W-3 ranged between 67 72 feet and 68 37 feet below site
grade, and on the average declined approximately 1 16 feet at the site between June 1996 and
September 1996 k
In June 1996, the ground water gradient was calculated to be 0 0015 ft/ft ( approximately 8 feef per
Imile), directed S 78°E In September 1996, the ground water gradient was calculated to be 0 0012
(approximately 6 feet per mile) directed S 67E(Figure 3 -SuiJace Ground Water Elevation Contour
Map) Between June 1996 and September 1996, ground water flow direction beneath the site rotated
approximately I V towards the south
r i
3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
In September 1996, TPH-g was detected in ground water samples collected from MW-3 at
i I -
