1 <br /> on the property to the northeast of the site at 2811 Farmington Road (the location of MW- <br /> 2) and the northwest and southwest comers of Farmington and Manposa Roads However, <br /> no Sanborn maps were available in the ERIIS collection for the years 1867 to 1990 <br /> ' 5.4 CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> 5.1 Hydrocarbon Impacted Groundwater <br /> Impacted groundwater at the site appears to be limited to petroleum hydrocarbons within <br /> ' the diesel range Diesel contamination was reported in all three monitoring wells at similar <br /> concentrations Since hydrocarbons were present in all wells, further groundwater <br /> investigation is warranted as recommended in the "Monitoring Well Installation and <br /> ' Quarterly Report - November 1993" prepared by GeoAudit <br /> Installation of additional wells was delayed to obtain information concerning the USA <br /> Gasoline site immediately south of Pacific Gas According to the PHS/EHD, additional <br /> monitoring wells were scheduled for installation at the USA site Data collected during the <br /> installation and sampling of these wells may be useful for determining well placement at <br /> ' Pacific Gas <br /> However, as of July 1994, no additional wells have been installed at the site Therefore, in <br /> order to maintain compliance with the Underground Storage Tank Clean-up Fund, we <br /> recommend the preparation of a work plan addendum for additional wells, or other <br /> appropriate action, at Pacific Gas <br /> 5.2 Hydrocarbon Impacted Soil <br /> Y P <br /> ' After the lateral extent of impacted groundwater has been defined, a remedial action plan <br /> for impacted soil and groundwater should be prepared <br /> ' <br /> 6.0 LIMITATIONS <br /> ' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily <br /> exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings <br /> were based upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of <br /> the geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are <br /> made from a limited number of available data points (i a monitoring wells) and subsurface <br /> ' conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, <br /> is made as to the professional recommendations contained in this report <br /> r <br /> 0..,.V-1,,.W 1.e $ <br /> sye6c 4.U 16 4 656 <br />
