Turka'.te: <br /> At the request of Mr. Manual Sanchez of Pacific Gas,Advanced GeoEnviron.mental, TnC. (AGE)has <br /> prepared anis work plan for abandonment of three ground water monitoring wells and two soil vapor- <br /> extraction wells at 2088 Mariposa Road in Stockton, California. <br /> Also enclosed is a well destruction permit and associated permit fee. We have tentatively scheduled <br /> abandonment procedures to commence on 08 November 1996. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Three ground water monitoring wells and two soil vapor extraction wells were installed as part of <br /> a soil and ground water investigation of the former underground storage tank(UST) area at the site. <br /> Each monitoring well was installed to a depth of approximately 70 feet below surface rade (bsg). <br /> Each soil vapor extraction well was installed to a depth of approximately 56 feet bsg. <br /> No further investigation or monitoring is required at the site. Therefore, all wells must be abandoned <br /> in accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health Service-Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS-EHD) guidelines. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 -Location,Vfap. A plan <br /> of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 -Site Plan. <br /> PROCEDURES. <br /> Each well will be pressure-grouted in accordance with PHS-EHD guidelines.
