I <br /> 1444 MARIPOSA ROAD <br /> WKA No 2938 03 <br /> January 28, 1997 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Xylenes (BTEX) using EPA method 602 A clean "travel blank" of distilled water was <br /> transported along with the water samples for the purposes of detecting cross-contamination from <br /> field activities All water removed during purging operations was placed in sealed, labeled 55 <br /> gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> Results of laboratory analysis of the water sample obtained from MWl revealed detectable <br /> concentrations of TPH as gasoline (52 parts per billion (4gl1) and benzene (0 9 µg11) Analytical <br /> results of laboratory analysis of the water sample obtained from MW2 revealed detectable <br /> concentrations of TPH as gasoline (96 pg/l) and benzene (4 5 Mcg/l) Total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as diesel and motor oil were not detected in water samples obtained from MWl and <br /> MW2 Analysis of water samples obtained from MW3 revealed no detectable concentrations of <br /> TPH as gasoline, diesel , motor oil, or BTEX at or above the reported laboratory method <br /> detection limits Sample analytical results are summarized in Table 2 Complete laboratory <br /> reports and chain-of-custody documentation are appended <br /> .
