WALLACE • KUHL <br /> &ASSOCIATES INC <br /> QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> AND SAiNIPLING REPORT <br /> 1444 MARIPOSA ROAD <br /> Stockton, California 95205 <br /> WKA No 2938 03 <br /> April 18, 1996 <br /> Recent ground water elevation measurements were obtained from the three on-site <br /> monitoring wells on February 1, 1996, histotic ground water elevation data is <br /> provided in Table 1 Based on current ground water elevation measurements, the <br /> F ground water flow beneath the subject property is in a southeasterly direction with <br /> s an estimated hydraulic gradient of 0 006 feet/foot (Plate 2) <br /> r Ground water samples were also obtained from the three on-site monitoring wells <br /> on February 1, 1996 Prior to purging and sampling, the water level in each well <br /> ,t was measured with an electronic water level indicator and checked' for visual signs <br /> of free product using new, clean, disposable polyethylene bailers No free <br /> +1 T product, sheen or odor was observed in the monitoring wells Prior to sampling, <br /> t, approximately four well volumes of water were removed from the wells by using'a <br /> Geotechnical Engineering <br /> �r 31/-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) bailer and sampling equipment was <br /> 'f'v1 Engineering Geology cleaned with a solution of trisodium phosphate and water to minimize the potential <br /> c for cross-contamination between the wells Ground water samples were then <br /> Environmental Consulting <br /> collected using new polyethylene disposable bailers and decanted into appropriate <br /> Remediation Services sampling containers provided by the analytical laboratory The samples were <br /> immediately placed in an ice-chest containing ice and submitted under chain-of- <br /> Construction Inspection <br /> custody to a California Department of Health Services certified laboratory for <br /> i Materials Testing analysis of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline, diesel using modified <br /> EPA method 8015 and Benzene, Toluene, Ethvlbenzene, and Total Xylenes using <br /> EPA method 8020 A clean "travel blank" of distilled water was transported along <br /> I <br /> 30501ndustrcal Blvd with the water samples for the purposes at detecting cross-contamination from field <br /> activities <br /> West Sacramento <br /> CA 95691 <br /> Fax 916 372 2565 <br /> r 916 372 1434 <br /> Recycled papa <br />
