Prior to purging and sampling,the water level in each <br /> well was measured with an electronic water level indicator and checked for visual <br /> signs of free product using a clean, disposable polyethylene bailer. No free <br /> product or sheen was observed in either well Prior to sampling, approximately <br /> three casing volumes of water were removed from the wells. Groundwater <br /> samples were then collected using new polyethylene disposable bailers and <br /> decanted into appropriate sampling containers provided by the analytical <br /> laboratory. <br /> The samples were immediately placed in an ice-chest containing ice and submitted <br /> under chain-of-custody to a California Department of Health Services certified <br /> laboratory for analysis of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons(TPH) as gasoline, <br /> Benzene, Toluene,Ethylbenzene, and Total Xylenes(BTEX), Tert-Butanol,Methyl <br /> L(i�r'cRAI E Uthlc, tert-Butyl Ether(ETBE),Di-isopropyl Ether(DIPE),Ethyl tert Butyl Ether <br /> 'I',°III`I`"t!!al I311d (ETBE), Tert-Amyl methyl Ether(TAME) Ethanol,Methanol(fuel oxygenates) <br /> We-t b Ic! vnel�to <br /> GA`;a)91 and 1,2-Dichlorobenzene(1,2-DCA)using EPA Method 82608.
