WESTON, INC.
STOCKTON ANALYTICAL LABORATORY
ANALYTICAL CASE NARRATIVE
Client: JERRY JOY
RFW #: 9204S631
TOTAL EXTRACTABLE HYDROCARBONS
1. This narrative covers the analysis of 11 samples in accordance with protocols based
on California LUFT Manual, October 1989.
2. The analytical"holding time for this analysis was met.
3. Initial and continuing calibration criteria were met for this analysis.
4. The method blank in extraction batch #92SE0549 associated with sample Stock Pile
#2, contained a peak not characteristic of a petroleum hydrocarbon. The method
blank associated with the remaining samples did not contain any interfering peaks
at or above the reporting limit.
5. Surrogates were not used in this analysis.
6. The blank spike recoveries were within advisory limits.
7. Matrix spike recoveries could not be calculated because the presence of petroleum
hydrocarbons exceeded the spike concentration, and a diluted analysis was required.
r
Dennis D.
