,CVvATC <br /> ASSOC IATES INC <br /> CLOSURE REPORT <br /> ' BJJ Company <br /> 2431 East Mariposa Road <br /> 1 Stockton,California <br /> 1.0NTR ODUMON <br /> 1 ATC Associates Inc has prepared this report on behalf of BJJ Company to present the <br /> information required for site closure review for BJJ Company property located at 2431 East <br /> 1 Manposa Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1) This report is being submitted to the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) and the California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (CRWQCB) to satisfy the closure <br /> 1 review requirements, as outlined by CRWQCB (Appendix B of the Tri-Regional <br /> Recommendations) <br /> 2.0 HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The subject site is located at 2431 East Manposa Road, in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The <br /> site is situated at an approximate elevation of 5 feet above mean sea level, in the Great Valley <br /> geomorphic province The Great Valley province is a north-south elongated structural trough <br /> filled with sediment from marine and continental sources The continentally-denved sedimentary <br /> ' deposits comprise the upper portion of the valley fill, and were deposited in fluvial, alluvial, and <br /> iacustnne environments <br /> ' The site is situated on level terrain The soils at the property have been mapped by the U S D A Soil <br /> Conservation Service as Jacktone Clay Jacktone clay is a fine-textured, dark gray to black clay, <br /> deposited by quiescent or slow moving water The parent material was of mixed origin, but primanly <br /> 1 igneous rock According to the survey, some in-place development of this soil has also occurred The <br /> development is a tight clay subsoil and is the result of transport and re-deposition of very fine particles <br /> from the top of the soil profile to the subsoil, resulting in a high colloidal clay content and impervious <br /> 1 structure m the subsoil <br /> The closest surface water to the site is Duck Creek, 113 of a mile to the southeast Mormon Slough is <br /> approximately 1 mile to the north The piezometnc level of groundwater has been reported to be <br /> between 65 and 75 feet below ground surface (bgs) at the site and flows eastward toward a pumping <br /> depression located east of Stockton (San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation <br /> ' District, 1994 data) <br /> w 194344`cpoFU\cIos=dm 1 <br />
