City of Stockton Page 2 - -The drilling and installation of the test wells and the pilot vapor and pumping tests will be completed by July 1992. -A meeting between PHS/EHD, COS and a representative of the Sacramento office of RESNA will be held in August 1992 to discuss the results of the pilot tests and to decide if further definition of the groundwater contaminant plume is necessary. -A Final Remediation Plan/Feasibility Study will be prepared and submitted. by October 1992. A proposal from RESNA for further work, if needed, will be submitted to COS at this time. -COS will determine if RESNA will be allowed to prepare the specifications for the remediation system and also bid on the project. This issue will be resolved by the August 1992 meeting. -PHS/EHD will review the Final Remediation Plan within 30 days after submittal. The public participation process will be initiated upon receipt of the final remediation plan. On February 24, 1992, the Stockton City Council approved contract change orders to include four quarters of groundwater sampling, monitoring and reports for the following listed sites. Quarterly sampling is scheduled to begin mid March 1992. 22 EAST MARKET -Sampling of the monitoring well and the emergency domestic well will begin within the next two weeks (mid March 1992) . -Approximately three weeks after the water sampling, a Soil Remediation Work Plan will be submitted to PHS/EHD and will include analytical results from the quarterly monitoring and groundwater gradient information obtained from adjacent sites (end of March 1992) . -Public participation will be initiated by PHS/EHD upon receipt of the Soil Remediation Work Plan. RESNA will coordinate arrangements with COS Police Chief for the work to occur. -A Summary Report will be prepared within thirty days of the re-excavation (end of May 1992) .
