James B. Giottonini
Page 2
-status of investigation and cleanup activities including
the results of all investigations completed to date;
-proposed continuing or next phase of investigation;
-method of cleanup proposed or implemented, schedules for
the completion of the investigation of the site and
remediation;
-method and location of disposal of the released
hazardous substance and any contaminated soil,
groundwater or surface water;
-manifest required for transport of hazardous
substances;
• -monitoring well data including groundwater elevation,
pH, conductivity, gradient;
• -analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling; and
-site map showing the "zero line" of contamination, if
' known, and changes in the above measurements over the
last quarter.
The first quarterly status reports should be submitted no later
than July 15, 1992 .
Recent communication efforts between this office and the City of
Stockton have been unsuccessful in producing any cleanup activities
at the above referenced sites. We request a meeting to discuss the
matter of corrective action. Our discussion will be of most
benefit with department representative(s) who are in positions to
commit to cleanup priorities, to set site goals and realistic
deadlines for future work. It is hoped that this meeting can
accomplish the above mentioned goals and to bring the City of
Stockton into compliance so that future enforcement from this
office will not be necessary.
A meeting can be scheduled during the week of March 16-20, 1992 on
a day that is convenient for the City of Stockton. Please contact
Linda Begely by March 6, 1992 at 468-3450 to arrange a date and
time.
JogiZKhann ) M.D. , M.P.H.
Healer
L x°ie A.
