Stormwater runoff is collected through gravity drain pipes and lift stations
and directed to two onsite ballast ponds lined with 1 to-2 feet of clay. As one
pond is filled, water from the second pond is discharged to the Stockton
z Regional Water Control Facility (SRWCF) at a rate determined by the city.
The sequence is then reversed, and the second pond collects runoff while the
first pond discharges to the SRWCF. The ponds were designed with a capacity
for a 5-year, 24=hour storm event, assuming 100 percent runoff. These ponds
cover approximately 2.5 acres onsite and are fenced.
GLT909/040.50 2-4
i
