The COS will determine if the
well is still needed by the Office of Emergency Services. If the well is not needed as an emergency
water source, the COS will prepare a work plan for well destruction and a copy of the destruction
specifications for the domestic/emergency well will be submitted to PHS/EHD.
* A soil contamination work plan for the re-excavation of residual soil contamination will be
submitted by mid May 1992. By mid June 1992, the soil re-excavation will be completed. A
summary report will be submitted by mid July 1992.
* Quarterly sampling of MWI and the domestic/emergency will occur in June 1992 and results will
be included in the July 1992 summary report.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
