Workplan for Subsurface Investigation Z

Stockton Police Facility Working To Restore Nature
Project No.OW0148:02
Page 3
approximately 10 feet. A geologist will be on site to log soils encountered in the subsurface.
Six samples, two from each boring, will be submitted to a State-certified laboratory and analyzed
for total petroleum hydrocarbons,as diesel (TPHd), and gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX). Pending approval from PHS/EHD, drill cuttings will be
stockpiled at the City Corporation Yard with previously excavated materials. All field activities
will be performed in accordance with the Site Safety Plan, Attachment 1.
Upon receiving laboratory results, RESNA will prepare a report for submittal to the PHS/EHD.
The report will include a summary of drilling activities, an interpretation of analytical data
showing the extent of soil contamination, and conclusions and recommendations. It is estimated
that the drilling and sampling will take approximately two weeks to schedule, one day to
complete, and the report will take approximately three weeks to complete.
If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact me in our office.
Respectfully,
RESNA Industries, Inc.
J n P.
