In addition, samples from the angle <br /> boring beneath the former waste oil UST and the nearest 2nd boring will be analyzed for total oil & grease <br /> (TOG)using EPA method 1664 to investigation potential contamination associate with the waste oil tank. <br /> i <br /> Selection of soil samples for laboratory analysis will be based on field evidence of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon contamination such as discoloration, odors, and field meter readings using a flame <br /> ionization detector (FID), as well as lithologic changes. <br /> All sampling and drilling equipment will be washed thoroughly with laboratory-grade detergent and <br /> water between uses to minimize the potential for cross contamination.
