Rental Properties, LLC, is in receipt of <br /> your letter dated February 9, 2000 with respect to the above- <br /> referenced matter. In the future, please direct all of your <br /> future inquiries and correspondence on this matter to my <br /> office. <br /> At this time, my client is of the opinion that it is still <br /> too early to tell, based upon the information contained in your <br /> letter, as to whether its property is the source of the <br /> contamination in question. It appears that further <br /> investigation will be required to establish the source of the <br /> contamination in question. However, I would just like to note <br /> that your client ' s property at one time contained an old garage <br /> and tire shop, and that there are several other sites in the <br /> immediate vicinity that were used or continue to be used as gas <br /> stations . <br /> Also, it is my understanding that a pipeline owned by <br /> Chevron passes through the area which supplies gasoline to the <br /> pumping station it owns in Banta.
